Consulted on the draft document “National Health Strategy”, prepared by the Minister of Health, the HCSP highlights the quality and the relevance of the draft, noting undeniable progress in terms of general strategy and the confirmation of the stated priorities (preventive shift, ambulatory shift, consideration of social health inequalities, health democracy).
However, the HCSP notes that some points could be developed or presented in the introduction, i.e. the four principles of action: “one health” in all policies as an objective, a resolute and active fight against territorial and social health inequalities, a territorial approach to the National Health Strategy and the need to involve users and citizens.
For the HCSP, there is a need to provide links with other policies: “Health in all policies”, there must be an interaction between the axes, as well as an identification of objectives for each area of focus. The operational application of the NHS should be set out within a National Public Health Plan.
Furthermore, the HCSP has made a certain number of comments for each field, and more specifically on the field of environment and infectious diseases.
