The High Council for public health provides in this document an update on the implementation of the National Strategy for the Prevention of Infections and Antibiotic Resistance (SNPIA) 2022-2025. This report aims to identify progress made and persistent challenges, and to make recommendations to strengthen the effectiveness of the actions implemented as part of this strategy.
This report is part of the ongoing evaluation recommended by the HCSP during the plan's design. This approach allows for monitoring and evaluation of the strategy's implementation throughout its deployment, not just at its completion.
Significant progress has been made in the implementation of the National Strategy for the Prevention of Infections and Antibiotic Resistance 2022-2025, particularly in terms of awareness-raising, training, and prescription supervision. However, significant challenges remain, including the broader adoption of recommendations, the integration of digital tools into daily practice, and strengthening local mobilization.
The recommendations made by the HCSP aim to consolidate achievements and remove identified obstacles to more effectively combat antimicrobial resistance. Sustained commitment from all stakeholders, at all levels, will be essential to achieve the ambitious objectives of this strategy.
