At the end of its fourth term and in anticipation of its renewal, the High Council for Public Health (HCSP) has conducted a review of its activities between 2022 and 2025, covering all of its specialized committees and working groups.
The analysis was structured around four thematic areas (HCSP activity and expertise production, HCSP organization and operation, communication and promotion of HCSP work, and positioning within the institutional landscape) to inform discussions regarding the preparation of the next term.
The review highlights the alignment between the HCSP's missions and its outputs, a diversified output that has returned to levels close to the pre-COVID-19 period, a well-structured organization based on a plurality of expertise, and a recognized institutional position.
The recommendations were identified to better assess the impact of HCSP's outputs, to acquire new skills and maintain organizational flexibility, to make its communication an important focus of work and to affirm and enhance its unique position in the institutional landscape of public health.
